NAGAMBIE RSL ENGAGE LOCAL ADF PERSONNEL 
This year’s Anzac Day March in Nagambie saw Australian soldiers from Puckapunyal Army Base’s @SchoolofArmour and Proof and Experimental Establishment Graytown lead the march to the cenotaph.
The School of Armour Catafalque Party, led by Corporal Joshua Cripps, carried lances onto the memorial garden cenotaph area. The young soldiers had only been in the army for four months.

LIVING SPIRIT FELLOWSHIP 

For almost 10 years Greensborough RSL has awarded the Living Spirit Fellowship, which is offered to students in Years 10-12.

The Fellowship encourages students to research various war fronts and personnel historically significant to Australia. The research also helps students understand Australia’s involvements in various war fronts.

Last year’s recipient, Luke Stella, has gone on to pursue a Military career, currently living in Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy and has passed his initial five week training period.

FAMILY FIRST IN KILMORE

A father and daughter team led this year’s Kilmore ANZAC Day March. Member of the Kilmore-Wallan RSL Sub-Branch, Gary Sturdy served in the Australian Army for 22 years in the Australian Army Catering Corps, retiring as a Sergeant. His daughter WO2 Kylie Doyle, who was also the guest speaker at the Kilmore-Wallen ANZAC Day service, has served 16 years in the Royal Australian Transport Corp and is currently the Senior Transport Development Officer for the Australian Army. The Sturdy family has a proud tradition of serving our country. We salute them.
