What can you expect in these roles?

You may be exposed to many aspects of Arboricultural Tree works, including:

  • Performing basic to advance tree maintenance services - planting, watering, and mulch spreading.
  • Programmed and reactive pruning of Street and Park Trees.
  • Electric Line Clearance pruning from an EWP.
  • Tree Assessment & auditing.
  • Formative tree pruning works, tree and stump removals, chipper operation, pest and disease management.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Passion to work outdoors with a strong work ethic
  • Current Victorian or a desire to achieve a Medium Rigid Truck License
  • A desire to achieve a First Aid Certificate
  • A desire to achieve a CPR Certificate
  • A desire to achieve a Certificate II/III in Arboriculture
  • A desire to achieve a Chainsaw License
  • A desire to achieve a Certificate II ESI (preferred)

Truck Drivers (West Melb)

  • 2:00 am start in West Melbourne
  • Weekend work & overtime available

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collection of Rear Lift bins around Melbourne Metro
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of streets and laneways
  • Providing a high level of customer service to Citywide Client and the General Public
  • Ensure highest safety standards at all times
  • Daily vehicle checks
  • Wash vehicle on a daily basis
  • Manually cleaning any spillages
  • Paperwork including run header sheets, run sheets, tip dockets are accurately filled out

Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes required for this role:

  • Current Victorian Medium Rigid truck license

Heavy Vehicle Operators

About the Role:

Day to day operation of the Dynon Rd facility which includes loading of waste into vehicles to be transported to landfills. The site processes a high volume of waste and operates 24 hours to provide a disposal point for commercial customers

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Operation of Front End Loader and Excavator in our Waste Transfer Station
  • Loading of compaction trailers
  • Safe driving and operation of vehicle in accordance with legislation
  • Carrying out all daily vehicle checks as per log book requirements
  • Wash vehicle on a daily basis
  • Manually cleaning any spillages

Essential Skills:

  • Front End Loader Ticker/Front End Driver experience is essential
  • Excavator ticket and Current Victorian Heavy Combination truck licence an advantage
  • Current Victorian High Risk Forklift Licence – Preferred but not essential
  • Background or demonstrated ability to understand heavy equipment (mechanical & electrical preferred)
  • Available to work Public Holidays as required
  • Available to work alternate shifts where required.
