Attend a commemorative Service
We encourage Victorians to commemorate ANZAC Day by attending a number of commemorative services on April 25.
Whether that be attending your local Dawn Service or Cenotaph, attending the Melbourne Dawn Service & March or visiting your local RSL on ANZAC Day, there are so many services where you can commemorate ANZAC Day in the community.
Follow the links below for more information of where you can attend a local service near you or attend the Melbourne ANZAC Day services.
Commemorate at Home
Based on the tremendous community response to this initiative, we call Victorians who cannot make a Dawn Service this ANZAC Day, to gather in their driveways, on their balconies, or in their living rooms at 6am to commemorate Australia’s deeply held ANZAC traditions.
You can tune in to watch the Melbourne Dawn Service live on on the RSL Victoria Facebook page.
Conduct your own ANZAC Day Service
For those wanting to conduct there very own ANZAC Day service there are four key rituals that one must follow in commemoration.
- The Ode
- Last Post
- The Silence
You can find more information in detail on how to conduct your very own ANZAC Day commemoration service below.
ANZAC Day commemoration features heavily on our social media platforms.
From Live coverage of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service and March to those online sharing their personal stories of commemoration of loved ones and friends, we call on the online community to get involved and commemorate ANZAC Day on RSL Victoria social media platforms.
