VICTORIAN VETERANS CARD OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

The Victorian Government’s Veterans Card – Victoria was officially launched on Friday, August 4, at an event hosted by the Lara RSL Sub-Branch.

In attendance at the event were Victorian Minister for Veterans Natalie Suleyman MP and Member for Lara Ella George MP.

The card entitles all past and present ADF members living in Victoria to discounts and benefits, including:

Lara RSL Sub-Branch hosted Victorian Minister for Veterans Natalie Suleyman and the Member for Lara Ella George today to officially launch the Veterans Card – Victoria.

Minister Suleyman said, “We’re incredibly proud to provide Australian Defence Force members in Victoria with essential support and benefits. Nothing can repay the debt of service but the Veterans Card is our way of saying thank you.”

Member for Lara, Ella George added, “A veteran’s contribution doesn’t end when they leave the Defence Force – we want to support them through the next stage of their life and easing the cost of living is one way we can help.”

RSL Victoria welcomes the Veterans Card – Victoria and hopes that many veterans and current serving members of the Australian Defence Force living in Victoria will enjoy the entitlements associated with the card.
