If you are looking for something that may help you transition into a new role, the Victorian caravan industry may have an opportunity for you.
Caravan Industry Victoria, along side Northlink and the Victorian Government have paid training and employment opportunities for anyone who is wanting to learn new skills and get paid!
The caravan industry is still fast-growing and there are roles to fill NOW in Melbourne’s North and South Eastern suburbs!
Participants will get the skills and knowledge they need to fill current vacancies.
- Paid vocational training covering Recreational Vehicle Manufacture, including work safety
- Paid work placement in a caravan manufacturing business
- An experienced ‘buddy’ to work with participants
- Participants who successfully complete the vocational training and work placement will have the opportunity to gain employment with a caravan manufacturer.
- Support and mentoring are provided during training, work placement, and employment.
The caravan industry needs full-time/ part-time workers because of high demand, mainly in caravan assembly. More and more people are buying caravans, and this is expected to continue into the future.
Requirements
Participants will need to produce proof of vaccination status or a medical exemption and may be required to undertake Rapid Antigen Testing. Must be 18 years old or over. Start times, as early as 6 am. Commit to 5 weeks of paid training.
