Title of the Position: Safety Officer

Role Summary/Brief Description: An exciting new job opportunity for a passionate safety professional to join a progressive and high-performing organisation as a Safety Officer on a Part-Time and ongoing basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for administering and monitoring the Trust’s Safety Management Systems and processes to support compliance, playing an instrumental part in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all Trust employees, stadium visitors and tenants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Emerging leader responsibilities, contributing to shaping the organisation's culture and operations.
• Safety planning and systems management, including coordination and delivery of safety procedures, plans and processes that contribute to a safe and secure venue and precinct.
• Safety risk management processes, including hazard identification and risk controls

Skills and Experience: Ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or a related field, or be currently enrolled in a health and safety course.
They will be a strong communicator and emerging leader who can maintain positive and effective professional relationships with various staff and key stakeholders.
