Role Summary/Brief Description: RMAA Australia has been engaged by Ford Motor Company of Australia Ltd to convert the Ford F150 pick-up truck from left hand drive to right hand drive at its brand new facility in Mickleham, north of Melbourne. This is an exciting new venture, involving the USA's top selling vehicle.

Seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and motivated job seekers who wish to be considered for Production Operator, Vehicle Assembler and Quality Inspector positions, to support the team in bringing the iconic Ford F150 to customers in Australia.

It is expected that these roles will be progressively filled from January to June 2023. These are full time ongoing day shift (7:00am-3:30pm) positions.

Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Production Manager these are critical and dynamic ‘hands on’ manufacturing based roles.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally, you have Production Operator, Vehicle Assembly or Quality Inspection experience in automotive manufacturing or another manufacturing related industry. While such experience is preferred, it is not essential. Consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate a willingness to learn and possess an aptitude for production, assembly and quality related work.
  • Ideally, you are comfortable working as part of a team(s) in a busy and dynamic production or manufacturing environment.
  • You are committed to delivering quality and safety outcomes with a focus on customer satisfaction.
