Full details about public transport for ANZAC Day 2026 will be available on the Public Transport Victoria website.
PTV will run extra trams, trains and buses to get you to the Melbourne Dawn Service.
Parking at the Shrine of Remembrance and surrounding streets is restricted on ANZAC Day. We recommend catching public transport to the 2026 Dawn Service.
Details regarding all-abilities access to the 2026 Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance will be published in the lead up to the event.
For more than a century, the RACV (Royal Automobile Club of Victoria) has supported veterans with mobility challenges by providing transport to participate in the Melbourne ANZAC Day March.
This personalised service is offered to veterans who require assistance getting to and from the March. RSL Victoria is proud of this long-standing partnership with the RACV.
This service includes:
- Transport from the home address to the March route, viewing from the RACV marquee, and return transport home.
- Transport from the home address, participation in the March with a unit, and return transport home.
- Transport in the March only (no transport to or from home).
Bookings for RACV transport will open in 2026.
