25th anniversary of Australian service in Afghanistan 2001-2021 Commemorative Service
On Sunday 11 October 2026, The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) will hold a national commemorative service at the Australian War memorial to honour all Australian veterans who served and sacrificed in Afghanistan, and their families.
DVA invites all veterans and their family members to come together and attend the service in Canberra. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be broadcasted live on ABC iView.
