The Cameron Baird VC MG Foundation and the Art of Sacrifice Portrait Series
As part of the Cameron Baird VC Mg Foundation and the Art of Sacrifice and the Art of Humanity Exhibition, an exhibition by George Petrou OAM being held at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, a special program celebrating Corporal Cameron Baird VC MG and the legacy of Australia’s 100th Victoria Cross recipient will take place on Saturday 7 November.
The program will include a presentation from 12pm- 1pm, with the exhibition open to the public from 10am-4pm.
The Cameron Baird VC MG Foundation was established by the Baird family to honour Cameron’s legacy and support defence force welfare, wounded soldiers, and veteran wellness programs. The special exhibition will feature works from George Petrou’s portrait series, celebrating Cameron Baird and those who have sacrificed for their country.
The exhibition welcomes veterans and their families to explore the exhibition, come together, and engage with the stories, service and sacrifice of our Australian service personnel.

When: 10am-4pm, with a special presentation taking place between 12pm-1pm
