Changes to ELT to progress RSL Victoria Transformation Project
RSL Victoria today announced that as part of its commitment to drive meaningful and sustainable reform across the RSL in Victoria, CEO Sue Cattermole will be taking on the role of Executive Project Director for the establishment phase of the RSL Victoria Transformation Project.
“This is the most important reform of the RSL in generations, and today’s announcement reflects its strategic importance and ensures it receives the leadership, visibility and momentum required to get the project underway,” said RSL Victoria President Dr Mark Schröffel.
“Sue has been involved with the development of the concept for this project since the beginning, this together with her intimate knowledge of the RSL network makes her the most suitable person to lead the initiation of this vital program of work.”
While Ms Cattermole leads the project, two members of the RSL Victoria Executive Leadership Team will alternate in assuming CEO duties, while maintaining oversight of their key functions within the State Branch.
From tomorrow (13 November 2025), Chief Financial Officer Jack Crawford will be the acting CEO of RSL Victoria until 31 January 2026. From 1 February 2026, Chief Operating Officer Clint Brewster will then take on the acting CEO role until 30 April 2026.
“Both Jack and Clint are highly capable leaders within our organisation, and I look forward to working more closely with them as they take on their additional duties,” said Dr Schröffel.
“I also see this as an important opportunity to foster and promote the leadership capabilities that we already have available to us within the State Branch.”
