Consultation Now Open on Veteran’s Legislation Reform

The Government has announced the beginning of public consultation on proposed changes to simplify veterans’ entitlements, compensation and rehabilitation legislation.
The draft legislation will simplify the compensation system for veterans.
The Government is seeking feedback on the draft Veterans’ Entitlements, Treatment and Support (Simplification and Harmonisation) Bill 2024 which, if passed by Parliament, will reform more than 100 years worth of veteran compensation legislation.
