Statement on allegations of unlawful killings in Afghanistan War

RSL Victoria believes in the strength of the Australian judicial system and has confidence that it will thoroughly and fairly deal with the allegations of unlawful killings by Australian Special Forces soldiers in Afghanistan.
Following the recent arrest of Afghanistan War veteran Ben Roberts-Smith, this trust and belief in the judicial system remains as important as ever.
Out of respect for that process, RSL Victoria will not be commenting on this matter while it is before the courts.
