After a couple of years of lockdowns and uncertainty, on Saturday, February 18, Bentleigh RSL Sub-Branch hosted their first RSL Active event for 2022.
The sun was shining, and there was plenty of fun and laughter as 20 veterans and their families putted their way around the Dingley Village Mini Golf course.
Plans are well underway for the return of monthly RSL Active events at Bentleigh RSL.
Connecting with RSL Active
Through volunteering veteran Krystal Brown learnt about RSL Active, a program designed to connect like-minded veterans and their families. It gives them the opportunity to take part in events focusing on physical, psychological and social engagement.
