RSL Victoria Members Receive Medal of the Order of Australia in King’s Birthday Honours
We would like to offer a big congratulations to our three RSL Victoria members who received Medals of the Order of Australia (OAMs) in the King’s Birthday Honours this week.
Our three recipients were, Keith Pitman of Ballarat RSL Sub-Branch, Pamela Davis of Drysdale RSL Sub-Branch, and Philip Webb of Doncaster RSL-Sub-Branch.
Keith Pitman received an OAM for service to veterans and their families. An ex-service person himself, Keith has been the president of Ballarat Sub-Branch since 1977 and a life member.
Pamela Davis received an OAM for service to the community of Drysdale. Heavily involved in the Drysdale RSL Sub-Branch, Pamela served as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary and is the current standing Secretary. She has also held the position of Welfare and Appeals Officer of Drysdale RSL Sub-Branch since 2010 and is a life member.
Philip Webb received an OAM for service to the community of Melbourne. Philip served as the President of Doncaster RSL Sub-Branch from 2022-2023 and continues to serve as a volunteer, supporting the Doncaster community.
We congratulate all our recipients but also thank them deeply for continuing to serve veterans and their families and remaining an invaluable part of our veteran community.
